DYK redux
Did you know? has been updated. A fact from the article Kasabach-Merritt syndrome, which you recently nominated, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page. |

Talk:Queen's University
It's called for. The main person who disagrees with me JaysCyYoung, is friends with User:Tykell. Evidence. That's meat puppetry. Before that he'd never contributed to the Queen's U article. And today a new user, LeftCoast (talk · contribs) suddenly pops up just to comment there. That is also meat puppetry. I rest my case. Ardenn 00:49, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- I put it there because I wanted to let them all know I'm on to them, and so the "overseeing admin" is also aware. Ardenn 00:53, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm hoping it'll help prevent a rush of "new users" commenting on just the one article. Ardenn 00:53, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- I did put it on their talk pages as well. I appreciate that. I did list it on RFC. Ardenn 00:56, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
With comments like this I can't reason with the guy. Ardenn 01:43, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
I'm feeling a little frustrated over the attacks, so I apprecaite the level-headed help. Ardenn 02:09, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
I'm honoured
I'm really touched that someone found my vandalism reversion so effective (read annoying) that he took the trouble to create a vandal account & vandalize my user page! I only wish he had thought of a more creative name (I mean "Srikeit is a loser" is so lame) ;D. But thanks for warning him. It's nice to know there's someone out there to watch your back.
Cheers

I was wondering if you might consider...
I was wondering if you might consider signing the RfC against Tony Sidaway that I posted and submitting this diff and this diff as an attempt to reason with Mr. Sidaway.
You don't have to if you don't feel comfortable with it, it's just a request. Thank you. -- nathanrdotcom @ 09:47, 17 May 2006 (UTC) retracted RfC for reasons of wanting to keep what sanity I have left, thus retracting previous request (sorry to bother you:P) -- Nathan (Got something to say? Your message: Dear Bhadaniji, thank you for your help and quick consideration to my trivial concerns when you have been dealing with far greater problems. I hope that the threatening e-mail problem has resolved itself. Many thanks again -- Samir

I don't think this is normal, but here goes
You're probably a busy guy and get a lot of messages - you seem to be a very diligent contributor with a lot of subject knowledge. This is pretty unusual but I saw your "did you know" article, and accordingly I was wondering if you could e-doctor me, if that's a valid phrase.
After swallowing, usually some large mouthful of meat, I sometimes feel my throat seize up. This goes on for a couple of hours, and in that time I'm unable to swallow. Anything. Food, liquids, saliva. It's irritating and pretty disgusting. It's ruined evenings for me. It's probably happened six or seven times over the past three years. I went to the hospital to see if they knew what was going on; bear in mind this wasn't during a spasm (which is what I've come to call it). They made me swallow some disgusting white viscous crap and x-rayed me. They found nothing. I had a sneaking suspicion of their imbecility.
So - as an altruistic gastroenterologist, what can you tell me, if anything? I'd be indebted to you for any help. Thankyou, Seegoon 20:57, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Sukh's RFA - Thanks!
Thank you for your vote on my RfA. Unfortunately there was no consensus reached at 43 support, 18 oppose and 8 neutral. I've just found out that there is a feature in "my preferences" that forces me to use edit summaries. I've now got it enabled :) Thanks again. Sukh | ਸੁਖ | Talk 15:44, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
My RFA
Thank you, Samir (The Scope), for voting in my RFA. It closed with a final result of 75/1/0. Now that I am an administrator here, I will continue to improve this encyclopedia, using my new tools to revert vandalism, block persistent vandals, protect pages that have been vandalized intensively, and close AFD discussions. Any questions? Please contact me by adding a new section on my talk page. Again, thanks to all of you who participated!!! -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:16, 20 May 2006 (UTC) |

I added to the renal section of scleroderma. Nothing spectacular... but a few more of the basics are there. Nephron T|C 00:10, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Merci beaucoup!
Thank you, Samir/Archive 4! Thank you for voting for my recent RfA, which passed (to my extreme surprise and shock) with a total tally of 66/15/2. For that, I would like to thank you and offer a helping hand in any admin-related tasks that may be required -- it's as simple as leaving a message on my talkpage. Thanks again! -→Buchanan-Hermit™/!? 22:20, 23 May 2006 (UTC) |

I'm not crazy about the entry either, but the channel's homepage lists him, which is a pretty solid source. Too bad I can't find him in IMDB. AFD it if you still find it too sketchy after my rewrite. :) - Mgm|(talk) 09:53, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Yay! Thanks! (That makes it TWO vandalisms in one day. Though I wouldn't really call the second vandalism. It was more like a lack of experience.) --M1ss1ontomars2k4 | T | C | @ 23:38, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Your Oppose Vote
Thank you for your input. I realise how mainspace edits may be most appreciated. I will work more specifically in Wikipedia: and main from now on I guess! :) ~Linuxerist E/L/T 10:31, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for your recent vote on my RFA, regardless of how you voted. I appreciate all votes. I am going to wait until I have more edits in all namespaces. (And also improve answering impossible questions ;). Hopefully one day I will be more sucessful than it was looking, once I meet most user's voting standards. Again, thanks for your time! ~Linuxerist E/L/T 02:18, 26 May 2006 (UTC) |

- Lol! That is the wierdest comment I have read. Let's see how much I can find out about this guy. This says that he is from Denton, Texas. This says that the IP is Electric Lightwave Inc. based in Vancouver. Probably more tools could tell more about you. - Aksi_great (talk) 20:42, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

- I think there are some points on "Are you a wikiholic?" test for doing that. Wikiholic scores seems to have gone out of fashion. There are some really nice questions there like "Do you search for an edit button on normal pages." I thought that question was silly until one day I actually did that! - Aksi_great (talk) 21:19, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi
Hi! Its been a long time we communicated. How are you? I have an exam shortly, so a bit less active. Just happened to see your question in India Quiz right now and hit it. I saw you had some DYKs lately. Sorry was not around to read the article, though u requested. Are you keeping abreast of this?--Dwaipayan (talk) 20:11, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Samir, There was not need to revert the changes that I had made to the Nehru Article. There is credible information that Nehru died of Syphillis, a sexually transmitted diseases. The reference that I had cited was from a credible source, not just some random blog. Please don't shy away from the reality of some Indian politicians.

Hello Samir. Thank you for your support at request for adminship and your gracious statement in my Editor review was also highly influential, as it was quoted by many RfA participants and strongly contributed to the overwhelming and flattering result of (160/1/0) was in large part, and leaves me in a position of having to live up to a high standard of community expectation.
