Sasori article?

OK, first things first: sign your talk page by typing --~~~~, which will give you a nice fancy signature that links to your actual user page, User:Sam ov the blue sand rather than a non-existant article Sam ov the blue sand.

Second, in order to start an article on Sasori, you would go to Sasori (Naruto). This will be a blank page. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, and there should be a text box in which you can begin the article.

Finally, I recommend you read the Wikipedia policy pages at some (soon) point, so that you will understand the jargon and how to write articles. Wikipedia:Help would be a good place to start. --tjstrf 21:23, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

Talk pages

Talk pages are for discussing the articles, not the series. Your question is just speculation, and not what the talk pages are for. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 02:17, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Sasuke

You need to work on your spelling. Other than that you did fine. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 04:02, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

AVB

The log shows AntiVandalBot (Talk | contribs | block) m (BOT - rv 167.21.254.13 (talk) to last version by Sam ov the blue sand) - what that means is that the bot reverted (aka saved) your version - the vandal was 167.21.254.13 - your last edit is the current version of the article.

Conversation

I'm not a conversationalist. I don't feel like scheduling time for any personal issues. Just don't use the talk pages as a forum, which you've been doing frequently. It's a very simple concept. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 04:00, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

You take things too seriously for your own good. Lighten up a bit. Just because I've told you to stop something desn't mean I hate you. – Someguy0830 (T | C)

I hope the information I provided helps. and thanks for working with me on this photoguy 05:30, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

link works now photoguy 05:56, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Someguy0830 deleted the page again. this is turning into a pain to fight. Maybe sandbox everything and copy the sand box to post as one masive article. photoguy 06:14, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

This page will just get redirected or deleted as it always does because there is barely enough information about it to write a single paragraph. Anything more is original research. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 06:56, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Again, original research. It doesn't matter if random people have written barrels of useless information, because it isn't something allowed here. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 07:27, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Rudeness

Hi. Um, I have no clue what you're talking about on my discussion page. Could you please elaborate on how I've been rude on the Naruto main page when I haven't edited it in several days? --Iriseyes 16:50, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't pay attention to my userpage and your comment wasn't the last one on the list, so me noticing it is unlikely. You shouldn't go fishing for thanks, anyway. Reverting annoying vandals is often a thankless job. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 22:06, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you

Thanks for the apology. It was a very nice thing of you to do to remove vandalism from Someguy's page and he should have thanked you for it. Thanks :) Yuser31415@? 23:05, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception/ Fighter aircrat

Hi Sam:

To answer your question, I proposed a merge on this item because the information contained in your article would be better contained in the article about the game. How I would handle it, if I had my druthers, was to add a #REDIRECT [[Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception]] and blank the content of the article. I believe that this is a particular case where that would be especially a good idea. Cheers V. Joe 00:05, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Why

You shouldn't be surprised at such retorts when you go around acting surprised on people's talk pages that someone managed to end up right in a situation with me. You usually don't think your arguments through, which is why you get shot down consistently. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 04:05, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

I can't think of any offhand. I'm sure there's one somewhere. Just think your arguments out better and it won't be so annoying for you. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 04:09, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Re: My Talk Page

It really depends on what you mean by "respect", which is a word that gets thrown around a lot these days. According to Wiktionary, respect means either admiring someone or regarding them as worthy of tolerance (i.e. the opposite of disrespect). I have not seen enough of your work to admire it, but I can definitely respect you according to the second definition simply because you haven't done anything stupid or obnoxious. Treima 04:27, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Oh, so you mean, do I consider you worthy of admiration? I'd have to say not yet. I don't admire easy, due to my cynical nature, if you didn't read my user page. The only person that I admire here at Wikipedia (so far and even then only slightly) is Someguy0830 simply because whenever I come on he is relentlessly reverting edits, much faster than I can, usually. Treima 04:43, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

Hey SOTBS, thanks for the comment, I left an explaination of my process on my talk page. Keep in touch. Xeago 05:44, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Sam- I went through your User Page and cleaned it up a bit. You had far too many simple spelling and grammar mistakes. Xeago 03:54, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

ACX Aircraft

There's nowhere near enough information for these to have separate articles... I'm proposing deletions, but will make one larger article with all of them if it's approved. Zaku Two 18:26, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

That's what I was planning on doing. But please, use the infoboxes for general data and specifications like I did on X-02 Wyvern and X-49 Night Raven. Zaku Two 22:20, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure... I think an admin will be able to delete them now if one knows about it. Zaku Two 01:48, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

War Questions

Re: I've always had some questions about war maybe someone could answer them for me. Why is everyone a hero and a villian, why don't people know who's the victim and who's the agressor, and what is peace? All questions that can be commonly be asked about war but aren't, so if anyone thinks they have an answer please give me your opinion.

Heroe, Villians, these are titles imposed on people who the masses assume are of a certain moral standing to help qualify their "difference" from said same masses. The reasons for these classifications are normaly actions which exault a certain moral fiber, Heroes are selfless in their actions, usualy extremely self sacrificing. Meanwhile, villians are usualy characters of extreme greed and selfishness. Everyone is not a hero, or a villian, only those of extreme moral character. Heroes fit usualy to a "T" Spock's great moral maxim: "The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the one, or the few." Villians always take for themselves, regardless of the needs of others.
People don't always know who the victim is, and who the agrressor is because of two factors: Prespective and information. Two strangers, of different background can look at the same situation and see very different sets of actions, because their heritages have not given them the same insights to life. Their prespective on the situation is very different, they see through different eyes and cannot tell specificly what has happened without the all the information. Take for instance these two sentences describing the same event.
1) An elderly lady is driving in the rain and hits a young man who was crossing the road, the man dies of his injuries, the woman is paralysed for the rest of her life.
2) A young man is out at dusk, and has been drinking, while attempting to cross at a poorly lit intersection, he is hit by a car and dies.
Same situation, but each sentence gives a very different impression on what happens. Both people could be at fault, or maybe neither. Who is the victim? The injured woman? Or the dead man? While neither acted agressively, both had a hand in the accident. The same can be said to many different situations, and no situation can be completely understood without all the information about what happened.
The biggest factors, that I have seen, in the causes of war are imposed morality and greed. When some one assumes that their moral structure and heritage is superior to another, they try to convert others to their way of thinking, their way of acting, to their morality. In many cases this is based on religious precepts that encourage the spread of certain veiws and ideals. But not always, as the British colonised much of the world to spread its culture. Its cultural influence was based on the desire for power and want of riches. Greed, thats the driving factor in so much of the worlds pursuits. It drives economies, destroys empires and creates "heroes" of a kind. War, condensed to its most basic cause, is me thinking I am right and every one else is wrong, and that there is no other right than mine. And, I want your stuff. Give it to me. I want what you have and I will take it by force, it's a cause of war, conflict and other skirmishes. Greed of that nature manifests it's self worst, as it is willing to do anything to aquire that others have without regard for morality or humanity.
There is so much more to say, but I can't say it all.
How you apply these examples to your question is up to you, I just thought I would give it a shot. Xeago 00:04, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
The terms Hero and Villian are fairly specific, and almost always reserved for exceptional individuals. A large group is rarely heroic, unless they complete a heroic trial together. A Great Hero will often be another persons villian, as the hero must act in a way that is justified by their own world veiw in order to be classified as a hero. The first dictionary definition of a hero is: " a man(or woman) of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities." A man who saves a drowning child is no ones villian, as it is such a selfless act that only the truely inhumane would see him in a lesser light because of it.
I suggest that before you use examples like Sadam Hussein you research what happened a little more. Saddam may have been a tyrant, but he was by no means a religeous zealot. Look here for more on him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saddam . He never cared about holy land.
I would not like to live in your paradise, a world without borders. Borders may be part of conflict, but they are also what helps define who we are. Besides that, the organisational problems you would have would be mind boggling. Even in countries there are borders, and there are borders in the provinces and states within those countries, and within those districts in those provinces ands states there are even more borders. There are borders in cities, even on blocks. A world without imaginary lines would be chaos. And the people of the world thrive most when put within lines and told that that is how they are defined. They either accept it, and stay there, or reject it and rise above the definitions they have been given and thrive in their own place. Without these lines, we would all be nomads. People without ties. Without definition. It is true, that definition can breed conflict, but it is also can unify peoples. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xeago (talkcontribs) 01:02, 6 December 2006 (UTC).

And the same to you, Sam! Thank you for the message!

Cheers, Yuser31415 00:02, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Also Happy Hanukka to you Sam! You may not know it, but I once considered converting, and becoming Jewish myself! In all the hub bub of working in retail, I had forgotten that Festival of Lights had begun! A very happy Festival to all! Xeago 02:54, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Ah, thanks much! :) I hope you have an enjoyable eight nights, as well. Luna Santin 11:08, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

{{npa}}

Use that. Make sure you subst it. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 01:44, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

So in other words, use {{subst:npa}}. Cheers! Yuser31415 02:49, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Your page

Hey, did you intend to make such silly spelling mistakes in your page with your sense of humour? Please at least get the Linkin Park lyrics right. And sorry I edited a few things in your user page without permission. Arhugefan 14:19, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Falken

In ACZ, it's obviously an easter egg to fans of the series, like the X-02. But because the Falken is already in existence in ACX, I think it's fairly safe to assume that it's canonical. Zaku Two 00:34, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Meh, I'll remove that. But about the AC3 plane articles... there are over 20 fictional planes in the game, there's no reason each one should have an article. The only one with an existing article that had any plot significance is the X-49. Zaku Two 00:54, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

I posted the previous section before you edited this out:

"Also find reasons to delete the articles you merged so there's not a dispute about it" Zaku Two 00:59, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Never mind. Anyway, I got rid of the speculation. Zaku Two 01:04, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

By the way, I reverted the ACX change because the intro to the article has to resemble other Wiki pages, which begin by stating the topic of the article in bold, and a brief summary. Zaku Two 01:06, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Sapin

If you mean the B-2s in mission 15, they're piloted by an Osea and a Belkan. I doubt they're owned by the Sapin Air Force. Zaku Two 02:24, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
