[edit] Coronation
- "...he produced the only surviving scene of the coronation of Edward VI" Considering his dates, this is an imaginative piece of "history painting" rather than a recording document. --Wetman 05:42, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Edward VI (12 October 1537 – 6 July 1553). Is the reference to a lost picture that he copied? --GwydionM 16:53, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Excellent hunch! "Royal Academy Looks at How Antiquaries Made History" mentions that it was burned in a fire. My hunch, then, is that the fire might have been the fire that burned the old House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster, 16 October 1834. --Wetman 19:37, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
