Are we certain he wasn't an O.O. member? I was always given to believe Enoch Powell (and maybe Lady Hermon) was the only UUP MP who was not. --Counter-revolutionary (talk) 10:16, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Not certain, so far I've only got the reference in article as evidence, but I do remember hearing in several places that there had been one UUP cabinet member in the NI Parliament who was not a member of the Orange Order. I'll look into it further. Warofdreams talk 22:15, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I've got a better reference: [1], from Walker's A History of the Ulster Unionist Party agrees that he wasn't a member of the Order. Our article on the UUP adds Ken Maginnis to your list or Powell and Hermon, but Hall-Thompson was a Stormont MP, not a Westminster MP. The new reference suggests that there were a few others at Stormont. Warofdreams talk 01:35, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
