[edit] Ms Power's comments to The Scotsman and subsequent resignation

The recent facts of Ms. Power's embarrassing statements, which resulted in her resignation from the position of foreign policy advisor to Obama should stand within the article for the time being. Ms. Powers is a brilliant person, who has done much good work. She will continue to much good work, but the current news is a part of her biography. With distance and time, it will be easier to return to a normal bio and remove some of the very recent events and in the context of her life's work, I'm sure it will be a small and insignificant event. But newsworthy items, of recent events, that are sourced, accurate, and involve a significant event belong within the context of a biography of a living person. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.200.36.10 (talk) 21:33, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Does the "disavowed by Obama" need to be in the first paragraph? While relevant in a detailed discussion of the incident, it seems out of place in the intro paragraph Charles Oppermann (talk) 23:32, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Organization

This article needs a major rewrite. I don't care about how much her remarks on Hillary Clinton stand out, but half of it is utterly redundant and circuitous. Suggestions for improvement welcomed. Cjs2111 (talk) 05:10, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

It's a bit tough because there are some minor editing skirmishes happening right now (wouldn't call them 'edit wars' yet exactly), so a lot of stuff is being added and removed repeatedly by a number of editors. It might be worth it to just sit tight for a few days until some of the IP editors slink back into the woodwork, then it'll be easier to work constructively. BTW not impugning all IP editors on this article. Anchoress · Weigh Anchor · Catacomb 05:21, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Affair with Sunstein

Does anyone have any credible sources for the well-circulated rumors that Power seduced Cass Sunstein? I've heard rumors from friends at U. of Chicago that Martha Nussbaum--his the partner--slapped him across the face at a public conference when she learned of what happened. Of course, NONE of this is permissable for any of their pages unless it is well sourced.--216.164.61.173 (talk) 01:42, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
