Thanks for the heads up, Tarquin. I wrote that text for a bookstore website, but I thought it had been removed. I'll rewrite the article to avoid any conflict. --BarkingDoc

[edit] States of Shock

Is this the same Sam Shepard who wrote the anti war play States of Shock. It's a fairly recent play, no earlier than 2003 i'd imagine. The only reason i'm uncertain is that the list of his plays seems fairly extensive, and i didn't think that whoever compiled it originally would miss what i understood to be a fairly well known play. If it is him, I'll do up an article about the play. well then do it then...loser

According to the author of this site, who claims to be an expert on Mr Shepard, it is the same one. Hope that helps.

[edit] Wrong Right Stuff

"However, he allowed the real Chuck Yeager to take him up in a jet plane in 1984, when he was preparing for his role as Yeager in The Right Stuff." doesn't seem quite right, given that the movie was released in 1983. Does anyone have a proper reference for this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.252.191.212 (talk) 00:00, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
