I'm 100% certain that Sam (like his brother Dan) Houser is English (London born) and not Scottish. Although there's very little in the way of sources out there you can find evidence to support this.

They are. They grew up in London. I think the Scottish confusion arises from the fact that they bought DMA (Scottish) and the fame of GTA being a DMA game sort of ties them into being Scottish. - X201 16:46, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
