The date for Sam's Wilderness Message is given variously as 1970 (here) and 1971 (on The Move: Sam Fife). Can someone who knows fix this?
I don't believe it's possible to fix an exact date since the message gradually evolved. Perhaps the first clear enunciation was in May or June, 1971, at a convention held in a public elementary school in Farmer's Branch, a suburb of Dallas, TX. But others could cite sermons before that that were leading up to it. It was again clearly stated at the Miami Convention in July, 1971.Yopienso 07:04, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
