Where are there ANY photographs of Sam Browne wearing his Sam Browne belt??? In every instance he's wearing the standard sword belt, with a sword on carriages.

Sam's belt is now in the National Army Museum, Chelsea, London. Photographed on display in India, c. 1940, it has since been badly "restored" and is partially unuseable!!!

I don't know what's on display in USA from 1812, but it ain't a Sam Browne!!
