Does anybody know if Sam Brown has a day job? Or anything about his career history before explodingdog? Or anything about his family other than the fact that his daughter, Anna Mae, was born on August 20th? (I'm not adding that bit to the article, because it should be in a paragraph about his family and I have no other information).

The Fairfield County Weekly has some information on job status and family from 2005: "Financial self-sufficiency and Internet fame took the former Masuk and then Staples High School student by surprise. He only realized he could make a living off of the site after getting laid off from his last job and devoting himself to his hobby full time out of necessity. Together with his wife of eight months, Brown now runs the Exploding Dog empire out of a Shelton office."

Dictators? I wouldn't list dictators as a favorite subject of his. Anyone else agree? Also, I'd like to see a real artist comment on the salient features of his art - particularly the use of color, perspective, and great variety in composition. PatrickFisher 02:16, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

I must contest the article's claim that Sam Brown has never drawn a monkey for this reason. Also, why is it notible that he hasn't drawn a monkey (even though he has)? dq 01:05, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Just because someone references an interview of SB talking about some obscure anti-monkey sentiment, it still doesn't make it noteworthy. Also, it doesn't explain the afore-mentioned drawing-- which BTW is a lyric from a Captain Beefheart song. dq 00:17, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
