Samvel Karapetian

Samvel Karapetian (Armenian: Սամվել Կարապետյան) is a prominent Armenian historian^[1], researcher, and architecture expert specializing in study of the monuments of Karabakh and other regions in Armenia and elsewhere. He has surveyed thousands of Armenian sites during the course of more than two decades. He is currently head of the Yerevan branch of the NGO Research on Armenian Architecture.
