Samurai Gun (サムライガン?) is a 13-episode anime series directed by Hideki Sonoda. It is licensed in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Germany by ADV Films, which co-financed the series' production. The show has been deemed a TV-MA rating for audiences 17 and older. As the title suggests, it features samurai using guns.

With Japan entering the Edo Period, the ruling Shogun are using their power to oppress the people and instill fear and dominance over them. The chosen methods to maintain their status include beating, raping, and even murdering innocent people. Now, a group of Black Insurgents have arrived with newly developed weapons and technology that they intend to use to fight back against the corrupt Shogun.

Ichimatsu is one of the samurai guns and the main protagonist of the series . During the day, he works at a local tavern. During the night, however, he delivers merciless justice under the name of "Samurai Gun."
