Samurai was one of the games for the Phillips Magnavox Odyssey², a console from the 1970's in the 8-bit home video game console era. Samurai is identical to the game Reversi. The game also contains two player mode, gameplay against the computer, as well as a digital timing handicap which allows newcomers to have a better chance in beating grandmaster players in the game. Similar to other Videopac games, the games did not do well compared to Atari but did manage to sell a lot of units in Europe and Brazil.
