Sir Samuel Martin PC MP (18009 January 1883) was a British politician.

Martin was born in 1800.

Martin was Member of Parliament for Pontefract from 1847 to 1851. He was appointed as a Privy Counsellor on 2 February 1874.

He died in 1883 and is buried in Brompton Cemetery, London.[1]

He married Frances Homera, who died 19 April 1874, aged 56.
