Samuel Langton

Samuel Langton (January 24, 1886July 10, 1918) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire between 1909 and 1910.

Langton made his debut during the 1909 County Championship season, and Derbyshire finished second-bottom of the table, Langton only making a small contribution to Derbyshire's run count during the season.

Langton's top scoring innings, of 6 runs, came in his only innings during the 1910 season, against Sussex. Langton died at the age of 32 in Doncaster.
