Samuel Hunter Adams

Samuel Hunter Adams (1878-1975) was a mayor of Calgary Alberta Canada.

Adams was elected Alderman on 1915 December 06 and served in that capacity for five consecutive terms.

He made a successful bid for the Mayoralty in 1920 against opponent Isaac Ruttle. As Mayor, Adams' biggest challenge was in dealing with the city's serious post-War unemployment. [1]
