Samuel Hunt (January 9, 1909August 2, 1963) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and leg-break bowler who played for Derbyshire in 1936. Hunt was born in the Derbyshire village of Doe Lea.

A middle-order batsman, Hunt played sporadically in Derbyshire's only County Championship-winning season, making his debut in May, though he was out of the team before the end of the season. Hunt was never on the losing side of a Derbyshire match.

Hunt was a lower-order batsman for the Derbyshire team. Fourteen years after his final County Championship appearance, Hunt represented Northumberland in the Minor Counties Championship. Hunt died at the age of 54 in Rochdale.
