Samuel Gollapalle

Rev. G. Samuel is the senior Pastor of Baptist Church Hyderabad which is not only one of the largest churches in India but also in the world. As on today the church pays host to a congregation of over 13,000 believers and has four different languages service. The church is one amongst the 100 fast growing Churches of the world.[1]
Rev. G. Samuel was born on January 5 1945 in a small village called Udaygiri in India. Though he lost his father at the age of five, his mother brought him up in the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ with his two brothers. Though he excelled in academics, his mother encouraged him to serve the Lord Jesus Christ as a full time minister. He finished his Bachelor of Divinity and was married to Eva Samuel on June 27 1966. They went to Nagaland as missionaries for 3 years from 1967 through 1970. They had their first baby girl Sarah Rose in Nagaland. After coming back from Nagaland, he was appointed as the first full time Pastor for Baptist Church Hyderabad on 22 June 1970. He was ordained in 1973. [2]
Rev. G Samuel is well known around the world and has traveled to many nations preaching the Gospel. Not only so, many world renoun preachers like Bro. DJS Dinakaran, Dr. Ravi Zacharias, Dr. Prakash Yesudian, had the privilege of preaching in the Baptist Church Hyderabad.
