Samuel Flaxington

Samuel Flaxington was a first class cricketer who played 4 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1882 against Sussex CCC, Gloucestershire CCC, Middlesex CCC and Kent CCC.

A right handed batsman, he scored 121 runs at 15.12 with a top score of 57 against Sussex on his debut, a game won by Yorkshire by 201 runs.

Born on October 14, 1860 in Otley, Yorkshire, he died there aged just 34 on March 10, 1895.
