Samtia

Samtia pronounced /sææmtɪɑː/ is a local caste of Bhakkr & Layyah, which is believed to be closely linked with the "Bakhar" cast of Sindh. There are some other casts in other areas of Pakistan which are believed to be the ancestors of the main Samtia caste. In Sindh, it is pronounced as /sæmtɪaʊhaʊ/. This can also be proved by looking into the saraiki/sindi langauge relationship which have close impressions on each other, beside their culture and dwellings.
