Sampoorna Kranti Express

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sampoorna Kranti Express is an Indian express passenger train service, which runs between Patna and New Delhi.

The service began running on February 16, 2002, and is one of the fastest train services in India, traversing the 999 km distance in under fourteen and half hours, which is faster than the previous Magadh Express Patna-New Delhi service and the Sharamjeevi Express on the same route. The train makes only two stops between Patna and New Delhi: at Kanpur and Mughalsarai covering the distance of 998 km in thirteen hours and thirty five minutes, and for technical reasons takes about an hour longer on the journey from Patna to New Delhi.[1]
