Samo Khae (Thai: สมอแข) is a subdistrict in the Mueang Phitsanulok District of Phitsanulok Province, Thailand.

The topography of Samo Khae is fertile lowlands.[1] The subdistrict is bordered to the north by Don Thong, to the east by Wang Thong of Amphoe Wang Thong, to the south by Wang Phikun of Amphoe Wang Thong and to the west by Aranyik.[1] Samo Khae lies within the Nan Basin, which is part of the Chao Phraya Watershed.

Samo Khae is home to a large population of migrants from Ratchaburi, and as such, much of the local culture involves northern customs. [1]

Samo Khae's close proximaty to the urban center of Phitsanulok has driven the subdistrict towards an industrial economy, although the primary way of life is still rice farming. [1]
