Samuel or Sammy Carlson is an American freeskier. He was born in 1989 and lives in Tigard, Oregon, and recently graduated from high school. He is considered to be one of the best young newschool skiers out there, mainly a slopestyle specialist. His achievements include 1st in Slopestyle in the Paul Mitchell Freeski Tour in 2005, and also winning the King of Style in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2006, throwing a 'Switch 1080'. He has been featured in Poor Boyz Production's War, and also Kris Ostness' Teddy Bear Crisis. In 2007, he got his first X-Games Medal, coming second in slopestyle. He has also been featured in 2 of this year's (2007) ski movies, Poor Boyz Productions 'Yeah Dude', 'Ski Porn' and Matchstick Productions' 'Seven Sunny Days'. He is sponsored by Salomon, Oakley, Nike6.0, Kicker, and Giro.
