Samir Abu Eisheh

Samir Abu Eisheh (1961-) is the former Planning Minister of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA). He represented Hamas and was dismissed from the PNA cabinet because of his membership to the organization in June 2007. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a PhD in Urban Planning. Eisheh also served as a consultant to several Palestinian universities and institutions including the Planning Ministry as well as several other ministries in Arab countries. He is the publisher of sixty research studies on Planning.[1]
