Sami Zeidan

Sami Zeidan is news presenter for Al Jazeera English. He, along with Shiulie Ghosh, presented the first Al Jazeera English broadcast from Doha on November 15, 2006.

Prior to joining Al Jazeera English, he presented a number of shows broadcast on CNBC Arabia, CNBC Europe CNBC Asia, and CNN International. As a news anchor and talk show host, he has interviewed a number of world leaders, such as Nelson Mandela, President Hugo Chávez, President Mahmoud Abbas, Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi among many other notable figures. He has also taught broadcast journalism courses at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.
