Samhäein

Samhäein is a Brazilian heavy metal band established in the 2000s by André dos Santos (bass) and Leandro 'Japa' Nagata (lead guitar).

Then band formed on the last days of December 2002, when André dos Santos and Leandro 'Japa' Nagata started to do some sort of rehearsal sections, then felt the inspiration and the raw sinergy between the songs selected to be covered.

On December 11, 2003, the first tune— "Tenebris Vincit"— was made.

After an extended experience with drummers and guitarists, Douglas 'Doug' came to establish his place as official drummer.

In January 2004, Greison assumed the place of second guitarist on the band. During the entire year of 2004, rehearsals and a few presentations crowned the year with a great balance after several situations.

In the second half of 2005, Samhäein released its first demo.
