Sambit Bal

Sambit Bal is an Indian journalist. He joined Wisden in 2001 and was the first editor of Wisden Asia Cricket. He is the editor of Cricinfo, the world's most popular cricket website, which is owned by ESPN. He is also the founder editor of Cricinfo Magazine, which appeared for the first time in January 2006. Before joining Wisden, he edited Gentleman, a monthly features magazine published from Mumbai.
