Samarendra Maulik

Samarendra Nath Maulik (1881 , Tamluk - 1950, Chelsea) was an Indian entomologist.

Maulick who specialised in Coleoptera worked at the British Museum (Natural History) and was, sometime, Professor of Zoology at the University of Calcutta.

He wrote three volumes in the Fauna of British India series.

• (1919) Chrysomelidae Hispinae and Cassidinae xi + 439 p 130 figs.
• (1926) Chrysoleminae and Halticinae 442 p 139 figs 1 map.
• (1936) Chrysomelidae Galerucinae 648 p 144 fig 1 map 1 plate.
