Samantha Munro

Samantha Munro currently lives in Toronto, Canada. She joins the cast of Degrassi: The Next Generation for the seventh season as Anya MacPherson.

Samantha has appeared in five episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation. She made her debut appearance in Standing In The Dark, and has made appearances in other episodes. Anya is known to be Holly J. Sinclair's "lap dog", and she waits on Holly hand and foot. Holly (Charlotte Arnold) is the typical high school queen bee and will "destroy you for fun".

Before making her television appearances, she was a member of the Oshawa Little Theatre, where she performed in Alice in Wonderland, Tom Sawyer, and The Wizard of Oz. Samantha's previous film credits include Falcon Beach, Would Be Kings, Mayday and Zoey Busiek: Wildcard.

Munro enjoys horseback riding, swimming, and soccer. She is also a gymnast in floor, vault, and trampoline.
