Samalga Island

Samalga Island (Samalĝa[1] in Aleut) ( 52°46′60″N, 169°12′17″W) is the westernmost island in the Fox Islands group of the eastern Aleutian Islands, Alaska. It is 4.2 miles long and is situated at the southwestern tip of Umnak Island. It has a land area of 4.115 km² (1.5888 sq mi) and is uninhabited by humans. It is separated from the Islands of Four Mountains group to the west by Samalga Pass.
