Sam Whiskey

Sam Whiskey is a 1969 film starring movie and television star Burt Reynolds a decade before he zoomed to superstar status in the late 1970s. Reynolds plays the eponymous Sam in this comedy western, seduced by a widow played by Angie Dickinson. With the help of characters played by Clint Walker (an inventor) and Ossie Davis (a blacksmith), Burt and Angie scheme to find and return a fortune in gold bars stolen by her late husband, with many comic complications.
