Sam Weaver

Samuel Weaver (8 February 1909 – 15 April 1985) was an English footballer who played as a half-back.
Weaver was primarily a left-half and played mainly for Newcastle United and winning an FA Cup medal with them in 1932. He also played for Chelsea during the 1930s. Other clubs he played for were Stockport County and Hull City. He played three times for the England national team in 1932 and 1933. He mastered the technique of long throw-ins.
