Sam McPheeters

Sam McPheeters (born 1969) was a key member of the early 90s hardcore punk scene, writing a number of zines (including "Error", Dear Jesus) and singing in seminal hardcore band Born Against. His more recent musical projects include Wrangler Brutes and Men's Recovery Project and recording spoken word records. McPheeters also ran the now-defunct but highly regarded Vermiform Records. He lives in Pomona, California and is currently a writer for local newspapers the OC Weekly and the Pomona Picayune. McPheeters also frequently contributes artwork for the band the Locust.
