Sam Jenkins (born October 18, 1966 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is an American actress best known for playing the role of Serena on the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

After a brief modeling career with Ford Models, she started her actress career in 1991 at 25, in "Hidden Lens", an Italian movie production (original title: Obiettivo indiscreto) featuring Luca Barbareschi (who continued his career in Italy as a TV game animator on RAI), Marc De Jonge and Vernon Dobcheff. The movie is presented for international distribution in 1991 at the Cannes Film Festival (just on the distribution market, not on the competition) and played for the public in 1992. It was not a success.

In the TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Hercules falls in love with Serena, they get married, but her character dies under mysterious circumstances. Jenkins also starred as Dr. Carole Eggert in the third season of Chicago Hope, and with Steve Buscemi in Twenty Bucks and Ed and His Dead Mother and had notable guest appearances as Mariah, the leader of the G.E.L.F. uprising in the Season 2 premiere and a later season 2 episode of seaQuest DSV, and alongside her husband as Dr. Sara Riley in two episodes of Andromeda.

She married actor Kevin Sorbo on January 5, 1998. Together, they have had three children: their first, 7lb. 8oz. son Braedon Cooper Sorbo, was born on August 22, 2001. Their second child, son Shane Haaken Sorbo was born on March 31, 2004. His birth weight of 12lbs. 6oz. broke the Nevada hospital's record. The couple's third child, 8lb. 7oz. daughter Octavia Flynn Sorbo, was born on October 16, 2005.
