Sam Gould is an American artist the lead instigator of Red 76, a collaborative art practice based in Portland, Oregon.
He is a founding member of MessHall, an experimental space in Chicago, Illinois, and Correspondence Space, a research lab he founded with curator/artist Stephanie Snyder.
Gould, along with Swedish academic/author/artist Ola Stahl, is the Co-Director of Foreign Correspondence, an international artist production house devoted to ephemeral and itinerant artistic practice, and the dissemination of these works.
With John Vitale, Gould is the co-editor of "......." (dots and quotes), a free print/web publication. The first issue published by the Collective Foundation POD Press and the second issues was sponsored by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and distributed internationally.
