Samuel "Sam" Balter, Jr. (October 15, 1909 – August 8, 1998) was an American basketball player who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics.
He was part of the American basketball team, which won the gold medal. He played two matches.
Balter played college basketball at UCLA and later provided radio commentary for UCLA basketball and football games.
