[edit] Wings

Sally, I noticed your interesting addition to the legacy of this film. Do you have a source for this? It should be added. FWiW, not chastisement, merely a sincere request to add to the article. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 20:45, 21 April 2008 (UTC).

We watched our VHS tape of Wings the other night. I taped the film in the 1990s when it was shown on American Movie Classics. It has yet to be released on DVD, which is hard to understand since it was the first film to win the Best Picture Oscar. I first saw it back in the 1970s, when it was rediscovered in a French film archive and released again to movie theaters. I do have a source for some of the additional information, but didn't have time to copy it down. I will look it up again and give the exact source.Sallyrob (talk) 01:51, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
I have included my sources for Wings in the article. I hope to read William Wellman, Jr.'s book on his father, which focuses on the making of this classic film. Hopefully, it will be released soon on DVD. Sallyrob (talk) 16:27, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for the citation. Although I no longer live in California, I return annually and continue to visit historic places whenever possible. I also make use of the numerous online sources which provide substantial information on California and its rich history. Sallyrob (talk) 16:29, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
