== Salman Zafar == Salman Zafar was born in a respected and educated family of Pirpiai( a village near Nowshera) on the 10th of September 1984. His father Mr. Zafar Ullah Khan Advocate was ambitious to see his elder son rise to the heights of success and prosperity and win pride for himself and his family. Salman got his primary education from his village Pirpiai in a Government school. He got admission in Army Public School and College, Armour( the then Armour Academy) Nowshera Cantt in 5th class. He got his Secondary School Certificate from the said institution in 1999 with shining colors securing 1st position in the school. He got his HSSC from Nisar Shaheed Degree College, Risalpur Cantt. in 2001 again in A grade. He graduated from Govt. Post graduate college, Nowshera in 2003 with flying colors and got admission in M.Sc. Chemistry at the Institute of Chemical Sciences, University of Peshawar. He got his M.Sc. degree in 2006 once again in A grade. His field of specialization was Organic Chemistry. He did his M.Sc. research work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Arfan. His title of thesiswas "Phytochemical studies of bark of BAUHINIA VARIEGATA". He got admission for his M.Phil/ Ph.D. at H. E. J. Research Institute of Chemistry, International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences, University of Karachi, Pakistan in October 2006 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal Choudhary, a well known scientist, highly reputed worldwide. Salman also got a scholarship from the Higher Education Commission Pakistan for his M.Phil/ Ph.D. project. His worked on the biotransformation studies of most common drugs with special reference to anti-depressant,cardiovascular and oral contraceptives.
