SalemTheWolf is also known as FidoPaws on the common art website http://www.deviantart.com. I have chosen the username SalemTheWolf for I love wolves and I am a fan of Salem the cat from Sabrina the Teenage Witch and have taken a recent interest in the witch legends of Salem, Massachusetts.

Why SalemTheWolf?

SalemTheWolf is my username instead of FidoPaws or Fido or Fi, etc. because I have enough webpages as Fido as is. Not that I don't love the name Fido, though, I find it really cute and spunky, but I felt like changing things around a bit.


Hobbies & Interests

SalemTheWolf is currently into animals; mostly wild/domestic canines, cheetahs, dinsaurs, dragons, and occasionally kangaroos. Said topics leads me to tell why I have a deviantART account. I draw, on paper and on the common/basic computer program Paint, animals. Over the years I've seen my art improve and I've further expanded my ideas when it comes to coloring, shading and anatomy.

Along with a love of animals and art, I have an addiction to animation. Although I watch live-actions shows and movies(such as What I Like About You, Scrubs, Freaky Friday, Titanic, etc.) I have a stronger attraction to animated shows. Usually fantasy/comedic shows(Disney's Gargoyles, Wolf's Rain, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Father of the Pride, etc.). Although among all the shows and movies I watch, animated and live-action(and even both like Osmosis Jones), my favorite of all would be the Disney show American Dragon: Jake Long.


More content hobbies, such as animal studies, drawing and media watching, are not the extend of my interests. I also have a fancy for tennis and I enjoy very long walks through forested hills/parks.


Reality

I live in a suaburbian hometown in NY and attend a public school with many, many good friends of mine. I have relatves as far as California and as close as NYC. During the summer I play tennis with my dad and go hiking through the woods in my backyard. Over the winter I stay indoors, watch American Dragon: Jake Long and occasionally go out with my friends.


Dark Side

I find my own personality quite weird(but I like it that way). I enjoy colorful things, decorating my binders and books, and loud/bright colored shirts, but I also enjoy the creepy side of things. I like horror movies with gore and blood(guts spilling out of someone's stomach does not gross me out), the color gray is very calming and lovely to me, and I find Hell interesting(even though some doubt it's existence, and I'm okay with that).


Beliefs

According to my family, I am Christian, yet I am not really sure what I am. For one, I do believe their is a God, but I don't believe God is a male, nor female. I don't believe the Bible is completely holy, for it is made of trees and trees are something the God created. I riddle myself everyday, how can the Bible be holy if it is made of the skin of something God created?(Carnivores eating herbivores is natural. Humans taking trees and making books out of them is not). Also, I don't believe Jesus was the God's son. I believe he was a very important messager. I do believe in Heaven and I do believe in Hell but I do question what the two exactly are, for one person's Heaven may be another's Hell.

I don't oppose gay pride. If you're a female and you like a female that is fine with me. If it's not your relationship why should you care? Honestly. Same thing with an abortion. I don't believe it's right for the government to try and control aborsions. It's up the mother and the mother's family to decide what to do with the baby, not the government.
