Salanth started out as a character on Materia Magica.

The origin of the name is a from a brainstorm of "-nth"-ending names inspired by the dragons in Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series.

Still working on my Honours Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toronto. My major is Classical Civilization and my minors are French and Book and Media Studies.

I started learning French in French immersion since senior kindergarten. I took German for three years in high school and listen to some music as well. I took Latin in university and did fine until the final exam. Then I panicked. The little Spanish I can understand comes mostly through similarities to French and of course, some help from Latin and from American media. Any Korean I have is leftover from my childhood, but I can't use it practically. Mostly food.
