Sal Lizard was born in 1955, in Franklin, Kentucky. Two years later, his family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. He grew up in the Fountain Square area of the south-east side of the city. Sal attended Harry E Wood High School for a time, before running away to the Penobscott Bay area of Maine at the age of 14. When he was 16, Sal became a resident of the Pleasant Run Childrens Home. He returned to Harry E Wood, HS and excelled as a student there until he reached the age of 17 and joined the US Army.

In 1985, Sal joined the US Navy and became a Hospital Corpsman.

Today, Sal Lizard is an Actor [1] and a stand-up comic. He has appeared in a number of independently-produced films and a couple of "big-budget" films (I Am Legend, The Box[2]).

Sal is also a Star Trek fan and has recently been elected to the uppermost position of STARFLEET — the world's largest Star Trek fan group.
