Error in my original edit note - of course I meant, "Move made without consultation or seeking consensus".

I have reverted the move to 'Sult'. The pronunciation is close to 'Sult' but it is rarely or never transliterated like this in Jordan. Roadsigns clearly use 'Salt' as does English Language literature on Jordan, e.g. the Rought Guide to Jordan, Lonely Planet Guide, etc. This is by far the most common spelling of the town's name in English. Pleased to hear the opinion of others. Please discuss and seek consensus before moving articles, this is wikipedia policy on article moves. Nick Fraser 17:20, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
