I think this entry needs to be restructured. For besides the officiel "Salon" in 1890 the "Salon au Champ de Mars" was created; this was the first "Secession" and the base of all further "Secessions" in Europe, indeed. But already in 1884 the "Société des Artists Indépendants" had been established in Paris - for a while highly important, and this society is still existing and based at the Grand Palais in Paris, like the "Société des Salons d'Automne". --wunny 00:52, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
