[edit] Closing date

my own info is that Sallins stn closed to passengers 09/09/1963, closed to goods 11/01/1977. But if you know different? Suckindiesel 17:46, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

A Sallins local told me that used to get the train to Dublin upto 1981 when it closed.

I'll make further enquiries re date Suckindiesel 19:56, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I've reverted the date again, but included ref, 1963 is also the date quoted in Sallins

[edit] redirection

in List of closed railway stations in Ireland i have provided a link to naas railway station which in the future i will create a page for, until then could i remove the redirect link for naas, as sallins station and naas station were two different stations. In the naas artcile, i'll make a note that it has in effect been replaced by sallins (hence why it was renamed to include "and naas"Halowithhorns89 (talk) 09:24, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Yes, why not, they were different stations after all Suckindiesel (talk) 13:13, 30 April 2008 (UTC)]

The redirect has been removed, however, the Naas page now simply is just the article heading, is there a way to make this page off limits, or offline (like when people cordon off an area during construction), as the article doesnt meet any criteria for Wikipedia, YET!
