I've read that first sentence three times, and I don't have a clue as to what it means.

[edit] Are engineers scientists

The main shift behind The Hypothesis seems to be the opinion that engineers aren't really scientists. It sin't about a "correlation observed in scientists, between subscribing to creationism and working in an engineering discipline " it's a "correlation observed in people claiming to be scientists who subscribe to creationism and working in an engineering discipline. " This is a bit POV. And would obviously needed tob be worded better to bhe included in the article which is why it is here not there. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ZayZayEM (talkcontribs) 06:27, 23 March 2007 (UTC). [edit] Notability

I couldn't see anything in the sole citation in this article to indicate that either this hypothesis or its proposer has any substance. I actually think that there is some truth to it, but until it can be shown to be something beyond idle online speculation, this article's fate is in question. This article may help on notability: An Engineer Looks at the Creationist Movement. I'll include it in the external links in the mean time, but it may well be usable to flesh out & reference the article. HrafnTalkStalk 03:27, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
