Talk:Salem al-Hazmi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Would you like to talk about it more in depth here so we can resolve this. We know the photo was correct because Al-Hazmi, (Salem's father) said that the published photos of his two sons may be doctored or faked somehow. Also the hijackers used their real names and he claims his passport wasn't stolen. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5594385
Any chance at a birthdate? Sherurcij (talk) (Terrorist Wikiproject) 13:21, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Also, quick question because I think I may have been the one to actually edit in (The two may not have been actual brothers, although they claimed they were.) , although now I can't find my own reference for that, and it seems to me it should have one. Any help would be great Sherurcij (talk) (Terrorist Wikiproject) 11:18, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pictures
Image:Alhazmi alive.JPGImage:Alhazmi released by FBI.JPG Again two pictures which origins are unclear. They say they're from the FBI, but I see no source. --Peephole 19:25, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
I am brand new to wikipedia, i just joined because i have a distinct feeling that the people who choose to believe that the september 11 attack was some kind of "false flag" operation have decided to sabotage the information about the hijackers, mostly that some are still alive. I know the photo on the left was used as evidence in the moussaoui trial (other images of it have that telltale yellow sticker) the other one i have only seen from websites which also use the dubious three pictures series of majed moqued and al midhar http://s3.amazonaws.com/911timeline/main/essaykhalidandnawaf.html and http://americanassembler.com/911/timeline/911_dec2001.htm. i apologize if i havent formatted this in the appropriate style for wikipedia as i just joined 5 minutes ago. if you could give me some pointers that would help, i am very intent on stopping the conspiracy theorists from sabotaging any of the information which is not verifiable from direct evidence. i assume that there is a better way to write in this than to just edit the page, again i apologize for any mistakes-Karl Karl Johannes
[edit] GA sweeps (delisted)
In order to uphold the quality of Wikipedia:Good articles, all articles listed as Good articles are being reviewed against the GA criteria as part of the GA project quality task force. While all the hard work that has gone into this article is appreciated, unfortunately, as of October 5, 2007, this article fails to satisfy the criteria, as detailed below. For that reason, the article has been delisted from WP:GA. However, if improvements are made bringing the article up to standards, the article may be nominated at WP:GAN. If you feel this decision has been made in error, you may seek remediation at WP:GAR.

The reasons:
The article claims a lot without citing any sources. Few citations, which are present in the article violate Wikipedia:Embedded_citations, because I can not find the full citations for them in the reflist. In addition, three of four refs in the reflist are weblinks without information about titles, dates, authors etc. Ruslik 10:18, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] God knows
The two pictures are clearly not the same person, unless they've had plastic surgery. In one, the earlob ends about equal to the end of the nose. In the other, it's close to the middle of bridge of the nose. Are the photos meant to demonstrate the photos are doctored, and these are two different people?
