[edit] Removed from article

During the cleanup I did today I removed these 2 sections. I am not sure where to include them especially as I cannot check these refs to see how important they are to his bio.

  • Salem visited his homeland for the first time after the Nakbeh in 1952.
  • He was also known for his strong support for all the underprivileged in the world, and for his continuous support of the Palestinian refugee camps and the Palestinian cause.

Hello,

I forgot to place a tag, though I think that my edit was more complete. If you disagree feel free to make changes. Cheers, TewfikTalk 18:31, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

No, hey that's great! This was my first try at a major re-write and I was hoping I wouldn't have to wait long to see someone elses changes. I like the organization and wasn't too pleased with the date breakups either. Also, the opening statement now makes its notableness more apparent. Lsjzl 18:47, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
