[edit] Life Force arcade game...merged or seperate

Life force arcade merged or seperatE? Are there enough changes to warrent that? I think life force, since its not that much different, shoudl be kept in this article, to keep in context. --Larsinio 19:28, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

I'd opt fpr merged since the changes in question are basically just cosmetics. Personally I think it's just a touched up version as opposed to a new game some websites suggest. It has been common practice for developers to introduce changes or 'improvements' during the process of localizing games for new markets. Vic Vipr 20:48, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Intruder's "four flaming tentacles"

This is minute. In the NES version, Intruder's arms are not flaming — they're just chains of circles that imply metal machinery. It's pretty clear since the game does such a good job representing fire earlier in that level and in level 3. If it's not different in any of the other versions, that detail needs to go.

The arcade game (Salamander) is used as a basis for the article and version differences can be added in the Life Force sub-section. —Vic Vipr 12:54, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Stop moving the Levels and Bosses for the NES game into the Lifeforce section

The levels and bosses in the arcade version are different from those in the NES/Famicom ports. The arcade levels and bosses are identical to the arcade version of Salamander other than graphical changes. The NES/Famicom games are more a remix and have altered levels, new levels, and new bosses. This is why the Levels and Bosses section belongs under the NES port section.
