[edit] Actor
As an actor, Salvatore Antonio has worked extensively on the stage, in films, and on television. He is currently filming the third season of the television-series Paradise Falls for Showcase. He plays the series' lead character, Sacha Martinelli, the stylish and irreverent owner of a resort in Paradise Falls.
He had been slated to perform in the film Blindness, directed by Fernando Mereilles. He had to pull out, however, because of scheduling conflicts that arose before filming.
He had a regular role in the six-part television series At The Hotel by Ken Finkleman.
On stage, he appeared in Léo by Rosa Laborde at the Tarragon Theatre as the title character during the winter of 2006. He reprised the role in 2007, in response to critical acclaim, and will tour Canada with the production in winter 2008. He played one of the lead roles in the psychological thriller Sam's Lake. Other recent films include Cursing Hanley, The Gospel of John, and Looking for Angelina.
