Salvador Mariona (born 27 December 1943) is a former soccer player from El Salvador who represented his country at the 1970 FIFA World Cup in Mexico.

Salvador Mariona began his footballing career at Mario Calvo in the second division, he was selected to represent the El Salvador national football team for eight years qualifying and playing in the world cup.
Salvador Mariona selection allowed him to play for great clubs including Atlante, Alianza F.C. and finally Platense Zacatecoluca, after which he retired in 1977 and became a coach.
After football, Salvador Mariona worked as insurance salesman and gained enough experience to found Desarrollo, SA which quickly became AIG Unión y Desarrollo, SA.

Salvador mariona is currently the Chief Executive of Alianza F.C. after taking over in 2005.
